Writing a report

This unit's writing task is a report. Another formal text which requires elevated language and formal structures.

To complement the activities of our book, I've designed a guide compiling the main lines to follow when writing a report. Moreover, you'll find a copy of the sample text included in your book, with some interesting constructions highlighted, so that you can see more clearly the things you must take into account.

The PDF version can be downloaded here.

Application letter

Now that you know how to face an application letter, in this post you'll find useful language for your writing task, as well as a different model of this type of letter.

And, as I've told you before, here you have the letter with mistakes we've worked with in today's lesson.

Last, but not least, I attach the task instructions to write your own application letter.

So, good luck with your writing task! Just one piece of advice: write by hand, because getting used to using your computer and being corrected by it can give you problems in the long term. We'll talk about it next time.

Enjoy your long weekend!
